Gerry believes all people have parts (emotional, psychological physical and spiritual) of themselves not fully formed and healthy due to their life’s circumstances, and to a lesser degree their biology (genetics or injury). Gerry’s therapy is directed at utilizing the healthy parts to overcome and/or reduce the influence of their unhealthy or not fully developed parts. 

Treatment Approaches:

Psychodynamic, CBT, Psychodrama and Psycho-educational.

Career Path:

Gerry has had a long career in traditional psychotherapy working with individuals, couples, groups and families. He has 10 years of psychodrama training and has worked in many settings, including the military, hospitals, public mental health centers, drug and alcohol treatment programs, children’s residential centers and run-away programs. He joined the APP team in 2000. 

Personal Interests:

Outdoor activities (bike, hike, ski, etc), travel, self-improvement, personal fitness, time with family, Mexican/Latin American culture, music and food.

Adolescents to seniors, individuals, couples, and families.
