I believe that Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps manage grief and anger by addressing the thoughts and avoidance behaviors that intensify loss. It does not eliminate sadness, but reframes the sadness and manages sudden anger or prolonged distress.
Treatment Approaches:
I use cognitive behavioral therapy techniques in group settings.

I started as a case manager in Pennsylvania for the Children, Youth, & Family Department and the Department of Aging.
